Today's Treasures in Tiny Packages.
Hello, dears! How have things been? I know that I'm not always punctual as I should be and I reeeaaalllyyy apologize. It's other commitments vying for my attention.
I don't know about you. I don't know from which perspective you see things and situations but I like to look at them from every way; through different spyglasses.
So I was pondering today (as I seem to do all the time! :) )

LOVE- THE JOKESTER (July 20 nostalgia)
Often times love evades the longanimous
Love, stylishly is a joker
Playing hide and seek
With mortal’s heart

THE CELEBRANT by D'Ola
You are like a rolling stone
sliding down the mountain of joy
Picking along debris of love
Thrusting a motion with boldful disposition
Silencing the shrewishness of life

THANKS!: Broken Heart Mended Already 2
![]() |
| WATCH OUT: frozen heart! |
(Forgive the length please. I want to start a new topic next week. That's why it's quite long!)
Yeah, hon. No tips on how to avoid a broken heart.
Anyone who tells you that they have a
magical tip on how to keep your heart from being untainted or broken is...well,
not being real.
OK! Here’s one way to avoid a broken heart.
It’s the only one I can think of right now. Pray, if you have another one, tell
me about it.

SHOULDN’T WE BE WEARY?........by D'Ola
SHOULDN’T WE BE
WEARY?....D'Ola
If you see darkness around you always
Would you not get worried?
Not for the presence of darkness itself
But for the absence of light
WE ARE WOMEN!
WE ARE WOMEN.
We were looked
down upon in the past; relegated to the rear; used as object of sexual
gratification; we were mutilated; scourged; called second class citizens; we
were bought and that was called marriage?! We had no voice of our own; not counted
as relevant when born. This is how we lived through the generations until a
voice said ENOUGH! Another voice joined that tiny little voice, and yet
another, and another and another until we could be heard

HELP!: Broken Heart Needs Mending ASAP 1
![]() |
| DespairLand... |
Her nose ran into her mouth but she didn't care at all. What was a runny nose compared to a broken heart from the man you felt so sure was your future? Your sun, moon, star...your universe?
Nothing, she answered herself.
She recalled the good old days when romance had been the order of her day.
He had been soooo romantic. The type that would brush a strand of hair off your face so slowly and so tenderly, your heart would skip a beat "Thump!"
The type that just knew how to treat a lady right and oozed self-confidence.
Maybe that was why she had fallen so hard and so fast for him.
Boy, he was a smooth talker. She had stripped herself bare for him: body and soul.
He had enjoyed the best of the goods and left her, bare and broken.
Whoever coined the term "Love Sucks" deserved a straight high-five. She was beginning to seriously consider the other part of the hilarious coinage "Try chocolate" even though she was on a non-fat diet.
"Love sucks. Try chocolate"
Chocolate had helped her friend, right?
She had found love and she was DONE with it. Amen.
Just then, another beautiful memory of the good ol' days was about to pierce through her thoughts and she firmly reached out, mentally, shut the door on it and jammed the lock home.
No more thoughts of him. No more sweet memories to torture herself with. She was putting an end to all that, and she was doing that NOW! No more sleepless nights too, like the one she'd just had.
She looked at her bedside clock.
5:00 am.
She might as well make good on her new resolutions and go for her morning run now.
So she stepped into her shorts, light tee and running sneakers. She paused for her iPod and earpiece before heading for her usual route.
One dude who happened to be out too came up jogging beside her and tried to start a conversation but she stared straight ahead and quickened her pace. Forget that she had caught a brief side-glimpse of his face and he was very cute.
Well she was IMMUNE!
She was determined to be anyway.
The male species plain irritated her right now and she didn't think she was ever going to fall in love again.
Ever.
Countless ladies and guys reading this will be able to easily relate to this.
The issue of heartbreaks is more than rampant in today's society, and it isn't going to stop. It is one of those things that must happen just because!
I can see you shaking your head and doing the whole 'Tufia' thingy.
Fine! I'm also doing it! We all want our hearts to remain in one piece; unbroken (at least those of us whose hearts haven't been broken yet anyway).
Sweetheart, a broken heart isn't something anyone wants to deal with, I tell you.
However, it doesn't kill.
And that, my dear, is the point!
I'm not going to tell you that I have tips on how to avoid a broken heart *sad face*

My Femininity

MY femininity is my dignity,
I guide it with jealousy.

TAKE IT
Take my heart
And make it thee
For your love I cherish still
in the midst of strife and grief
till the joy I seek, I find
And make it thee
For your love I cherish still
in the midst of strife and grief
till the joy I seek, I find
