Whether out of foolishness or innocence
To someone you wished had never left
You in the cold unannounced?
Did you for once love the scenery of that moment?
When the sun shines better to give you a hint
And the weather was unusually pleasant
You hoped that day will usher in more love
To your instinctive self your were correct
When you saw your lover’s call
You rushed to pick up
And at the other end was a different voice
Saying ‘let’s have a break’
You answered and said ‘Hello, wrong number please’
Yet, the voice you heard said the same
‘Let’s have a break, please’
Oh! You are riled ..... your relationship ‘as crumbl’d
Did you cry and acted out death,
Clasping your pillow and feeling like swallowing it?
Did you discern inside of you rivers of words with unknown destinies?
Did these ill-fated words walk up to your throat,
forcing you to cry each time you want to share your misery?
Surely, these words taste sour to your speech
Except if they didn't indulge in the manifestations of their fatty egos,
Such that they putrefy your actions to self-indignity
